Back in 2003 the Foxy Roses met while working as publicity employees at the Doornroosje venue in Nijmegen. They soon find out they share many interests. One of those is photography. Together they start visiting many concerts and they always brought their cameras. Soon after Ilse started a photo website "just for fun" in 2004, they teamed up. During the next year and a half they photograph well over 50 bands and find themselves taking pictures for the VPRO 3voor12 Arnhem/Nijmegen website and KindaMuzik. No matter if the bands are famous or new, the Foxy Roses shoot them all. The old website soon turns out to be too small, so a new one is started in 2006. A site that clearly shows the things they want you to see.
